Display settings

For each banner, we set where and to whom it is shown. Settings can be combined.

LanguageOne banner version for all site languages, or a separate version for each language.
DeviceDesktop, mobile or both. Tablets count as mobile. If the slot size on mobile is different, a separate file is needed for mobile.
Cities and regionsShown to visitors who have selected the relevant city, region or country on the site.
SectionsThe listings catalog and listing pages of selected sections only, for example “Tires and wheels”.
AudienceAll visitors, signed-in users only, or guests only.
PeriodStart and end dates. After the end date, the banner is no longer shown.

How we calculate the result

We count clicks: every click on an image banner goes through the Autospot counter. Clicks by search engine bots are not counted.
We do not count banner impressions. To see what visitors do on your site, add UTM tags to the link.
If a slot has several banners, one of them is shown each time the page opens, with equal probability.
For HTML code, impressions and clicks are counted by your ad network.

Technical requirements

Formats and file size

JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF (including animated).
File size: up to 1 MB. We place the file as is, without recompression, so image quality is not lost.
For the banner to load faster on phones, we recommend up to 300 KB: WebP or JPG at quality 85–90 looks the same as the original.

File size

Make the file twice the size of the slot: for 1310×160, use 2620×320 px. This keeps the banner sharp on high-resolution screens.
The file’s proportions must match the placement size: the banner scales down to the screen width without cropping.
Don’t place text or buttons right at the edges: on narrow screens the banner gets smaller.

Banner HTML code

Instead of an image, you can place banner HTML code from your ad network. That network counts its impressions and clicks.
We check the code before launch.

Link

The link leads to a page that matches the banner: the same offer, price and terms.
UTM tags are allowed. The link opens in a new tab.

Language and content

Banner text should be in the language of the site version where it is shown. One version for all languages is possible if the banner has no text or only the brand name.
Banner content must comply with Georgian advertising law: accurate information about the product, price and terms.

Timing and layout review

Send the banner and link in advance: we’ll give you the launch date along with the terms.
Before launch we check the layout and the link. If something isn’t right, we’ll tell you what to fix.

Do I need listings to place advertising?

No. Company advertising is arranged separately from listings.

How do I find out the price?

Tell us what you want to advertise, in which section and for how long. We’ll reply with the terms.

Can I place a banner in several languages?

Yes. Specify the languages you need and prepare banner versions; each one is shown in its own site language.

How many impressions will the banner get?

Autospot does not count impressions. We count clicks on image banners; you can ask support for the number of clicks on your banner.

What materials are needed?

A banner of the right size and a click-through link, or the banner’s HTML code. Requirements are in the section above.
