Version dated 14 October 2026.
This Policy explains when Autospot.ge refunds money for the paid services of the website autospot.ge, how to submit a refund request and within what time limits we return the money. It is written in plain language and is based on the legislation of Georgia, including the Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection No. 1455 of 29 March 2022.
This Policy is an integral part of the Public Offer (it sets out in detail the refund section of the Offer) and applies together with the User Agreement. If the refund terms in different documents differ, the one that is more favourable to the purchaser of the service applies. The limitation-of-liability provisions of the User Agreement do not cancel refunds under this Policy or the consumer’s statutory rights.
How you accept this Policy. Before payment, the website displays the name of the service, its term, the amount and links to the Offer and to this Policy. To pay, you must tick the box “I have read the Offer and the Refund Policy, including the refund limitations, and I accept them”. For a service costing 30 ₾ or more, the consumer additionally confirms, with a separate tick box: “I ask that the service begin immediately after payment; I understand that once the service has been fully performed I lose the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days”. Payment is not possible without these tick boxes. We record the details of the tick boxes: the date, time, amount and the version of the documents.
1.1. Paid services. This Policy applies to the paid services of Autospot.ge:
The free features of the website, including the publication of ordinary listings, are not governed by this Policy: you pay nothing for them. If new paid services appear on the website, this Policy applies to them as well, unless otherwise stated for them.
This Policy does not cover money that you pay to another user for a car, spare parts or other goods or services: Autospot.ge is not a party to such transactions and does not receive that money. Resolve disputes about such payments directly with the seller.
1.2. Consumers and companies. The law protects buyers differently, so we distinguish two groups.
1.3. Special terms. If we have separately agreed other terms with you in writing (for example, in an invoice or a commercial proposal), those terms apply first, and anything not covered by them is governed by this Policy. Such terms cannot worsen the rights that the law gives to the consumer.
1.4. When a service is considered started and fully performed. This matters for refunds. Money for a service is debited immediately upon payment, and then:
2.1. The service was not provided or was provided improperly. We will refund the money for the part of the service that we did not provide if:
The choice is yours: we will either correct the error (activate the service or extend it for the duration of the failure or of the erroneous block) or refund the money for the part not provided.
This does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights: where a service is provided improperly, the consumer is entitled to demand that the defect be remedied within a reasonable time, a proportionate reduction of the price, withdrawal from the contract and compensation for damages. If a service has in fact not been provided, we refund the fee for the part not provided regardless of the reason, unless the reason lies in your own actions.
2.2. Double and erroneous charges. If the same order has been paid twice, an amount greater than the price of the service has been debited, or money has been debited without your order, we will, after verifying the payment, refund the excess amount in full.
2.3. The service has not yet started.
If you paid by card directly for a service, or if you need the money on your card rather than on the balance, say so in your request: we will return the money to the same card (clause 6.3).
2.4. Consumer’s withdrawal within 14 days. A consumer may withdraw, without giving any reason, from a paid service bought on the website within 14 calendar days from the date the contract was concluded (that is, from the date of payment; for an automatically renewed tariff, from the date of renewal) and receive the money paid for the service (Articles 13 and 15 of the Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection). Conditions:
We refund the entire amount paid, without any deduction for the days during which the service was already running.
If you were not informed of the right of withdrawal before payment, the law extends the period: you may withdraw within 12 months after the end of those 14 days (Art. 13(8)). If you are informed of the right later, you have 7 days from receipt of that information (Art. 13(9)).
Example. You paid for a 30-day tariff and changed your mind after 5 days. Write to us: the tariff will be switched off and the money for it refunded. Together with the tariff, its functions, for example the store showcase, will stop working. The bonus received for activating the tariff is cancelled on refund to the extent that it has not yet been spent.
2.5. Automatic renewal of a tariff. A paid tariff has auto-renewal, and it is enabled by default: when you buy a tariff, the “Automatic tariff renewal” box is already ticked, and you can untick it at the time of purchase and at any time afterwards — on the tariff page and in your profile. On the day the tariff expires, the fee is debited from your balance at the price in effect on that day (it may differ from the price of the first purchase; the current price is shown on the tariff page), and a new term begins. A bank card is not linked to the account, and nothing is debited from a card. One day before the tariff expires, we send a reminder to your e-mail, regardless of whether auto-renewal is enabled. A consumer is entitled to withdraw from a renewed tariff within 14 calendar days from the date of renewal and receive the money in full (clause 2.4), including where the price has increased. If the balance is insufficient, the renewal does not take place and the tariff ends when its term expires.
2.6. Paid placement in a catalogue section. If you paid for the publication of a listing, the listing was rejected by moderation and not published, and you will not correct and republish it, write to us: we will refund the publication fee because the service was not provided. If the listing has been published, clause 2.4 and Section 3 apply.
Below are the cases in which we do not refund money. These limitations do not cancel the rights that the law gives you (including the consumer’s right of withdrawal under clause 2.4) and do not apply in the cases of our error (clauses 2.1 and 2.2).
3.1. The service has been fully performed. A consumer loses the right of withdrawal if three conditions are met at the same time (Art. 14(2)(a) of the Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection):
The consent and the confirmation are given on the payment page before payment. If they were not obtained, or we are unable to prove that they were, the right of withdrawal is preserved even after the service has been fully performed. For companies and entrepreneurs, a fully performed service is non-refundable.
3.2. Bonus, gift and referral funds. The registration bonus, the top-up bonus and the bonus for activating a tariff are incentives from Autospot.ge, not money that you deposited. They are not refunded in cash and are not paid out to a card; they can be spent on the services of the website. Referral rewards are likewise not payment for a service: they are credited to the balance as bonus funds and can be spent on the services of the website. The website has no automatic payout of referral rewards in cash. If you have not spent them, you can send a withdrawal request with the “Withdraw” button in the referral programme section (it opens a support request form). A decision on such a request is taken individually; we state the procedure and conditions of withdrawal in our reply and explain the reason for any refusal. This is not a refund under this Policy.
3.3. Blocking for violation of the rules. If we blocked a listing or an account for a material violation of the Listing Rules or for publishing prohibited content (for example, fraud, falsified data, prohibited goods), we state the reason; you can appeal the block by writing to us (Section 5). A paid listing is also blocked. The fee for the part of the service already provided is not refunded. For the unused part of the paid term you may submit a request (Section 5): we will return it to the balance in proportion to the remaining days, except where the block is connected with fraud or an intentional violation. This does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights. If the block turns out to have been our error, clause 2.1 applies; for the remaining balance in the case of a block, see clause 4.7.
3.4. Services costing up to and including 30 ₾. By law, the rules of the chapter on distance contracts, including the right of withdrawal within 14 days, do not apply to goods and services whose price does not exceed 30 ₾ (Art. 10(3) of the Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection). At our own discretion, we also grant consumers the right of withdrawal under clause 2.4 for services costing exactly 30 ₾. For cheaper services that have already started, we do not refund money merely because you changed your mind. But in the following cases we always refund the money: our error (clause 2.1), a double or erroneous charge (clause 2.2), the service has not yet started (clause 2.3). The price of the service is shown on the purchase page.
3.5. Other cases. Money for a service that has already started is not refunded (except in the cases of clauses 2.1 and 2.2 and the consumer’s right of withdrawal under clause 2.4) if:
4.1. What the balance is. The balance (in the Offer — the “Wallet”) is the internal account of your account on the website, from which Autospot.ge services are paid. It is not a bank account, and no interest accrues on it. The balance receives your top-ups, bonuses, referral rewards and refunds for services that have not started. The balance is single: the website does not show which part of the amount is money you deposited and which part is bonuses, so for refund purposes we determine this from the payment history.
4.2. What we refund. Money that you deposited by real payments (by card or, if an invoice was issued to your company, by bank transfer) and have not yet spent, we will refund on your request. The refund amount is calculated as follows: the money you deposited by real payments, minus that part of everything you spent on services over the whole period which exceeds the bonuses you received (registration bonuses, top-up bonuses, tariff bonuses and referral rewards). We assume that you spend bonus and gift funds first and your own money afterwards. Amounts that were refunded to you for services are not counted as spent. The refund amount cannot exceed the current balance.
Example. You topped up your balance by 100 ₾ and received a 20 ₾ bonus; the balance is 120 ₾. Then you spent 30 ₾ on a service; the remaining balance is 90 ₾. Of the 30 ₾ spent, the bonus covered 20 ₾, and 10 ₾ of your own money was spent. Refund: 100 ₾ minus 10 ₾ = 90 ₾.
4.3. Bonuses on refund. Unspent bonuses credited in connection with the refunded payment (the top-up bonus, the bonus for activating a tariff) are cancelled on refund. Bonuses that you have already spent are not deducted from you.
4.4. How we refund. To the same card with which you topped up your balance, through Bank of Georgia, if the bank allows a refund of that payment. A refund to a card is processed manually by a support employee after the payment has been verified. If the money cannot be returned to that card (for example, the card is closed or the bank cannot refund an old payment to the same card), we will agree another method with you, for example a transfer to your bank account. We do not charge you any fee for the refund.
4.5. When you can apply. At any time while you have a remaining balance deposited by real payments.
4.6. Closing the account. There is no account deletion button in the personal account: to delete or deactivate your account, write to us (contact methods are in Section 5). Before that, we will ask whether the remaining balance needs to be refunded under the rules of this section. After the account is deleted, the balance cannot be restored, and any remaining bonuses are cancelled.
4.7. Account blocking. Blocking does not in itself deprive you of the right to a refund of the balance deposited by real payments. If the block is connected with suspected fraud or a payment dispute, the refund is made after verification, and we will explain the reason for the delay.
5.1. Where to write. In the personal account, an already paid service for a listing cannot be cancelled (you can only disable the auto-renewal of a tariff and delete the tariff), so cancellation and refund are arranged by request. Write to us in any convenient way:
5.2. What to include in the request.
For a consumer’s withdrawal under clause 2.4, no reason needs to be given. Any clear statement is sufficient, provided it contains your name, your account details (phone number or e-mail) and payment information that lets us find the order: the date, the amount or the name of the service. We will not reject a notice because other details are missing. The other items in the list are needed for requests under clauses 2.1–2.3 and Section 4.
Top-ups, debits and refunds to the balance are visible in your personal account in the “Payment history” section. Refunds to a card are not shown in this history: we will inform you of them by e-mail (clause 6.5). Never send us your full card number, CVV or CVC code, passwords or SMS codes: the last four digits of the card are enough for us.
5.3. Template notice of withdrawal (for a consumer). The template below is the standard Autospot.ge withdrawal form. Using it is optional: we accept any statement from which the decision to withdraw from the contract is clear.
To: Autospot.ge, info@autospot.ge
From: [your name, phone number and account e-mail]
I withdraw from the contract for the provision of the paid service [name of the service or tariff], paid on [date] in the amount of [amount] ₾ (transaction number: [number, if any]).
Please refund the money [to the card ending in ____ / to my account balance].
Date: [date]. Name: [name]
5.4. Your data. The data controller is the service provider whose details are given in Section 8. We use the data from the request (account contacts, payment information, the content of the correspondence) to consider the request, refund the money, keep payment records and prevent repeated and fraudulent refunds. The basis is your request and the contract for the provision of the service, the legal requirements for keeping payment records, and our legitimate interest in protecting against fraud (Art. 5 of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection No. 3144 of 14 June 2023). The data is received by Bank of Georgia (for the refund of the payment; we do not see your card data) and by the services through which communication takes place: hosting and e-mail, and the e-mail delivery service. The servers of these services are located outside Georgia. Retention periods for requests and payment records, your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection) and how to exercise them, and the right to complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia (the supervisory authority for personal data protection since 2 March 2026) are described in our Privacy Policy, in the sections “Who we share data with”, “How long we keep data”, “Your rights” and “Complaint to the supervisory authority”.
6.1. Reply to a request. We confirm receipt of a consumer’s notice of withdrawal (clause 2.4) immediately: by an automatic reply or by an e-mail to the address from which the notice came or which you indicated in the form. We confirm receipt of other requests no later than 1 business day. We communicate the decision (refund approved, or rejected with an explanation of the reason) no later than 5 business days from receipt. Business days are all days except Saturdays, Sundays and official non-working days in Georgia. If information from the bank or from you is needed to verify the payment, we will tell you so within the same time limit.
6.2. Refund time limit.
6.3. Method of refund. By the same method that you used to pay:
If the money cannot be returned by the same method, we will agree another method with you. We do not charge you any fees.
6.4. Crediting by the bank. We send a refund to a card to the bank within the time limit stated in clause 6.2. After that, the money is credited under the rules of Bank of Georgia and of the bank that issued your card, and this may take additional time. We cannot speed up this stage. If your card is not issued in lari, the amount on the card may differ because of your bank’s exchange rate: we refund the same amount in lari that we received from you.
6.5. Notification. When a refund to a card or an account has been processed, we will inform you by e-mail (to the address from which you wrote to us or which you indicated in the form).
6.6. If we refused. We will explain the reason and cite the clause of this Policy. You may contact us again with additional information. A consumer is also entitled to file a complaint with the Competition and Consumer Agency of Georgia (no later than 2 years after the violation, Art. 31 of the law), and any purchaser is entitled to apply to a court.
7.1. Write to us first. If you see a charge on your card that you do not recognise, a double charge or an incorrect amount, please write to us first (Section 5) and state the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card. This way we can find the payment by its transaction number faster and correct the error.
7.2. Your rights are not limited. This does not prevent you from contacting the bank that issued your card at any time and disputing the transaction. If you believe that your card was used without your knowledge, immediately notify your bank and us.
7.3. To avoid refunding twice. If you have already disputed the payment with your bank, tell us: we will not refund the same amount again. If the bank refunded the money to you following a dispute, the services paid for by that payment may be disabled.
7.4. Your card data. Payment takes place on the secure Bank of Georgia page. We do not receive or store your card number or security codes. What remains with us is information about the transaction (the order number, the amount, the status and description of the payment, the record in the “Payment history”) and the name, e-mail address and phone number from your account associated with the order. How we use this data and how long we keep it is described in the Privacy Policy.
8.1. Details. We publish this information in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Electronic Commerce No. 3110 of 13 June 2023.
Claims and enquiries are accepted by e-mail at info@autospot.ge and via the form autospot.ge/feedback; a substantive reply is given within the time limits of Section 6 and of the Offer. Out of court, a consumer may apply to the Competition and Consumer Agency of Georgia (clause 6.6).
8.2. Related documents. Public Offer, User Agreement, Payment Methods, Privacy Policy, Listing Rules.
8.3. Changes. We may amend this Policy where there are reasonable grounds: a change in law or in bank requirements, a change in the range of services, or the correction of errors. The new version is published on this page with a new date (the date of the version is shown at the top) and takes effect no earlier than 14 calendar days after publication; for material changes we additionally notify you by e-mail at the address of the account. Only changes that improve your position, correct typographical errors or are caused by a change in law take effect immediately. Services paid for before the new version takes effect are provided and refunded on the previous terms. For the automatic renewal of a tariff, the version in effect on the day of renewal applies: if you do not agree with the changes, disable auto-renewal before the day of renewal, and a consumer is entitled to withdraw from the renewed tariff under clause 2.4 and receive the money. We will send previous versions on request to info@autospot.ge.
8.4. Governing law and disputes. The legislation of Georgia applies to relations under this Policy. Disputes are heard by the courts of Georgia under the rules of jurisdiction established by the legislation of Georgia; if, for a consumer, those rules provide a more favourable option, that option applies (clause 9.4 of the Offer). Contacting us is a convenient but not a mandatory step: a consumer may at any time apply to the Competition and Consumer Agency of Georgia, to a court, or to the bank that issued their card.
8.5. Language. Information for consumers is provided in the state language of Georgia. The Georgian version of the Policy published on the website is the legally authoritative one: in the event of any discrepancy, the Georgian version prevails. Versions in other languages, including English, are translations provided for convenience. If a provision of the Policy is open to different interpretations in different versions, it is interpreted in favour of the consumer.
